I tried this yo-yo at the 2019 World Yo-Yo contest when Scales and Core Co originally dropped it and was pleasantly surprised. The excessive width makes for a really fun throw experience without getting too big in hand as a result of the proper smaller diameter. You can easily adjust to a bouncy or technical style with ease - 2 play styles I personally gravitate towards often. The wider the yo-yo design, the more challenging it is to ensure no ‘pulse’ vibration when spinning. For this yo-yo to be ‘this’ smooth at this width is a serious feat and one for the books.
